Tobias Dammers, born in 1978, grew up in Mönchengladbach, Germany.

He has been composing and playing music for pretty much his entire life; he studied trombone and Cuban percussion at the Arnhem conservatory, focusing on latin music, 'free' improvisation and composition. He also plays the piano, trumpet, various percussion instruments, and sings.

When he's not making music, he is working as a programmer, or maybe just out for a run.
